Emotionale Kommunikation in Eltern-Kind Interaktionen: Ein artübergreifender Vergleich zwischen Gibbons, Schimpansen und Menschen

Zusammenfassung: Dieses Projekt soll durch den artübergreifenden Vergleich die Frage untersuchen, ob es einen evolutionären Trend in der Eltern-Kind Interaktion gibt und wie sich dieser in Veränderungen im Emotionsausdruck zeigt. Ergebnisse könnten Hinweise darauf liefern, welche emotionalen Signale wir mit nicht-menschlichen Primaten teilen und welche vielleicht einzigartig menschlich sind.

Emotional communication in parent-infant interactions: A cross-species comparison of gibbons, chimpanzees and humans

Summary: The aim of this cross-species project is to research weather there is an evolutionary trend in parent-infant interaction and how this could be obvious in communication and emotion expression. Results could contribute to a better understanding of how communicative signals are shared by apes and humans and which might be unique to humans.
