In June 2011 an advisory committee to the MACR was established. The committee advises the staff of the master program in terms of basic conceptional and theoretical questions. Their knowledge and experience from non-governmental and governmental organisations, other higher education institutions, and associations outside the Freie Universität Berlin contributes to the success of the MACR program and its further development. The close cooperation with the advisory committee members and their respective institutions is one pillar to the practice-oriented approach of the program.
The advisory committee generally meets every semester (twice per year). MACR's lecturers and student representatives are always invited to participate in the committee’s meetings.
