Neural Dynamics of Visual Cognition Group

Habelschwerdter Allee 45
14195 Berlin

I started doing research in the Neural Dynamics of Visual Cognition group in September 2018 as a Master student. Since Ocotber 2020 I continued with my doctorate, which is funded by the Einstein Center for Neuroscience (Berlin) PhD program. My academic background is in philosophy (BA) and cognitive neuroscience (MSc), and I am now following courses in mathematics and machine learning.

My research aims at understanding and modeling visual processing in the human brain, following a computational approach. I am currently working on the encoding of neural dynamics: here the goal is to predict and explain the neural responses to visual objects, in the form of EEG data, through different computer vision models.

Things in life that I appreciate are: movies (independent/arthouse), playing Frisbee, mountain hikes and backpacking, electronic music and outdoor raves, learning, cooking and eating, sleeping, sunbathing.
