I am a PhD candidate at Universidad Autónoma in Madrid (UAM), and I am in Freie Universität Berlin this semester doing a research stay.

I have worked on IRT innovations, trying to improve cheating detection methods in CAT, when they are administrated over the internet.

Currently, I am working on IRT and crossed random-effects models investigating flawed items (in particular, the inclusion of None-of-the-above as an option in multiple choice answers), modelling participant responses, taking into account the students’ personality traits, as well as item properties. Further, I am also interested in IRT modelling in general. I would like to incorporate missing values in my research, as I think that they can provide more information about the examinees’ behaviour and their personality traits.
