My main research interest is to understand the neural dynamics underlying visual perception.
During my PhD, I will try to dissect the spatiotemporal processing underlying feedback and feedfoward signals during object perception and investigate how these can be modulated by top-down signals. Additionally, I am interested in the plasticity of the visual system. To address these questions I will use a combination of human electrophysiology and neuroimaging.
I studied psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology at the University of Amsterdam and completed my master in social, cognitive and affective neuroscience at the Free University in Berlin.
