The ALaDDin group has recently moved to Berlin! Welcome to our new web-page!
We investigate the development of receptive and expressive language skills from the first years of life until consolidation in school, adolescence and adulthood.
With the help of empirical studies, we compare groups of inconspicuously developed mono-, bi- and multilingual children with groups of children and adolescents with developmental disorders that influence language development. With our research, we want to gain insights into the relationship between language and other cognitive abilities. Our aim is to develop new possibilities for the diagnosis and support of language disorders, especially with regard to everyday school life.
