Nadine Etzkorn is a student assistant in the Division of Education Research and Social Systems. She has been enrolled in the master’s degree program in education at Freie Universität Berlin since 2014.

Etzkorn earned her bachelor’s degree in education and psychology at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena. During her studies, she focused in particular on the topics of global learning, education for sustainable development, and political education. She wrote her bachelor’s thesis on pedagogical challenges regarding political education in the context of globalization.

In connection with the focus of her studies, Etzkorn completed internships at various bodies, including the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Expert Council of German Foundations for Integration and Migration (Sachverständigenrat deutscher Stiftungen für Integration und Migration) and worked at the Institute of Education and Culture (Institut für Bildung und Kultur) of Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena.
