Johannes Schuster is research associate at the Department of Educational Research and Social Systems. He is working on his PhD in the research project „CONNECT: Connections and Levels of Influence of Treaty Secretariats in International Environmental and Disability Policy over Time“ within the DFG-research group „International Public Administration“.
Johannes Schuster studied Education and Psychology (B.A.) in Jena and Rennes and Educational Science (M.A.) at Freie Universität Berlin. He wrote his master thesis on the topic of International Disability Policy Making using Twitter data.
Johannes Schuster’s research focus is the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. He uses Social Network Analysis as his methodological framework.
During his Masters program, he worked as a student assistant in the Department of Educational Research and Social Systems in the research project “RuhrFutur”, focussing on analysis and presentation of network data.
