I will join the lab in October 2018 as a PhD student funded by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and the Berlin School of Mind and Brain.

I have always been interested in the human mind and methods to investigate the ‘black box’. That is one of the reasons I chose to do the Research Master Cognitive Neuropsychology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Durng my master studies in Amsterdam, I have worked on an EEG project about attention and visual working memory. More specifically, we investigated attentional capture of a currently presented object (search template) and of a memorized object (accessory item) by measuring the N2PC.

For my master thesis, I have been working on a project under supervision of Radek Cichy and Daniel Kaiser. The project entails how our experience with everyday objects in specific parts of the visual field influences the processing and representation of those objects in the visual cortex.
