Neural Dynamics of Visual Cognition
I am currently completing my bachelor’s degree in psychology at Touro University Berlin. Here, I am expanding my research experience by assisting in a project funded by the BMBF that explores the effects of hate speech on social media and intends to develop a corresponding educational program to combat it. Although this experience has been of great importance in solidifying my qualitative research skills, my main objective has long been—and remains to be—to specialize in neuropsychological research. Joining the Neural Dynamics of Visual Cognition Lab in 2021, where I contribute to the execution of EEG assessments in order to gain understanding of the developmental properties of object recognition and categorization, has been invaluable for this purpose. In addition, it has allowed me to enrichen my foundations in psychology by complementing with praxis my previous theoretical knowledge in quantitative research.
