What does an exchange look like for students at the FU?

The possibility of a semester abroad as part of the course of study is expressly supported and promoted by the Freie Universität Berlin.

A stay abroad is recommended as follows: For the Bachelor Educational Science (only German) either during the 3rd or 5th semester. For the Master Educational Research (only German) during the 3rd semester.

Students at the FU can plan a semester abroad as so-called "outgoing" students through a variety of exchange programs.

Attention, there are deadlines to be observed here: for example if you want to stay in Erasmus: Info event are always in December of each year; The last registration deadline is always January 31st of each year to go on your stay abroad for the following winter semester!
