MA: at a glance

The Master Childhood Studies and Children’s Rights is no longer offered at FU Berlin. From winter semester 2016/17 on, the program has relocated to Potsdam University of Applied Sciences.

  • Tuition fees: €5965
    (they have to be payed in full during the enrollment period before the beginning of the program)
  • Administrative University fees: around €290,00
    (including public transportation in Berlin and Brandenburg)

Admission Criteria

  • Interest to contribute to the implementation of children's rights in different work areas
  • A bachelors degree (BA) or equivalent academic degree.
  • 1 year work experience, after finishing an undergraduate degree (B.A. or similar), in the area of child and youth work, education, social services, health, law, media, international development cooperation or similar areas.
  • Proof of English knowledge (e.g. work / study / internship experiences in an English speaking country; native speaker; language of instruction of previous study program was English)
