Use of the Freie Universität Logo by Students and Doctoral Candidates
Students, doctoral students or habilitation candidates can use the universities’ logo for study purposes or as part of their examination process with the approval of their respective supervisor or lecturer. This includes in particular the use of the logo on posters, flyers, PowerPoint presentations, or other presentations created within the scope of their studies, doctoral work, or habilitation, like for example at conferences or congresses, where research results are presented. The permission to use the logo, once granted by the lecturer or supervisor, does not apply to publications that can be considered personal, such as individual publications through publishers.
Any further use of the logo is prohibited for students, doctoral candidates, and postdoctoral researchers. In particular, it is not permitted to use the logo of Freie Universität Berlin on theses.
