Nils Zimmer is research associate at the Department of Educational Research and Social Systems at the Freie University of Berlin. He is working on his PhD in the research project "NetKuB".

He studied cultural work (diploma) at the University of Apllied Science Potsdam and sociocultural studies (M.A.) at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) and the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
