We are delighted to announce that Prof. Dr. Jennifer Cartmel from Griffith University in Brisbane, Queensland (Australia), will be our second guest in June 2026. Prof. Dr. Cartmel will be visiting our Division of Primary Education from June 8 to 22, 2026.

Professor Jennifer Cartmel, Australia leads research in policy, curriculum and workforce capacity building in extended education. Professor Cartmel’s research has focused on the processes to build professional partnerships between the professional workforce in all settings; and the other is to gather children’s perspectives on their experiences in extended education. Currently she leads LAMP (Leadership and Management Project) research (Queensland Children’s Activities Network) and developing a national Inclusive Capability Framework (Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority).

Professor Cartmels research stay is funded by the FU Global Faculty Program, which is designed to promote the internationalization of Freie Universität Berlin.
