Congratulations to our PhD researcher Panagiotis Iliopoulos, who received the Best Student Poster Award at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC) 2026.

The AAIC is the world's largest international conference dedicated to Alzheimer's disease and dementia research, attracting more than 10,000 attendees from around the globe. Panagiotis' award-winning poster presented findings from a cognitive training study investigating memory improvements and structural plasticity in the perirhinal cortex.  Out of approximately 7,000 ssubmissions presented at the conference, only four received this award, highlighting the impact and excellence of his research. We warmly congratulate Panagiotis on this outstanding achievement and look forward to seeing this work published.
