Special Education as a Core Subject (ISS/Gym)

Special Education can be studied as a core subject with 90 credit points (CP) for the teaching degree in Integrated Secondary Schools and Gymnasiums. Students also choose a second subject with 60 CP, while the remaining 30 CP are completed in teaching-related vocational science (LBW). The Bachelor’s thesis with 10 CP is written in the area of specialization.

Teaching-related vocational science (LBW)

In the area of LBW, teacher training students focus on educational sciences, German as a second language, didactics in heterogeneous learning groups, and subject didactics within the module offerings, for 30 credit points.
