Dr. Yuan-hao Wu
I am interested in how the brain flexibly encodes and transforms information in order to support goal-directed behaviors. In particular, I seek to understand how neural representations of (somatosensory) information evolve throughout different cognitive processes, such as perception and working memory, and how this information is used to form decisions. To tackle this problem, I use a combination of methods including behavioral assessments, machine learning techniques, and neuroimaging (fMRI, EEG).
