The Symposium remembers the life and work of the publicist and filmmaker Gordian Troeller (16. March 1917, †22. March 2003). Several of his reports and documentaries covered the topic of Western development policies, which he considered to be a form of colonialism. The Symposium will be held in German language.

From October, the MA Childhood Studies and Children’s Rights is offered at its new location at Fachbereich Bildungs- und Sozialwesen (Department Education and Social Services) of Potsdam University of Applied Sciences. With the celebration of the opening ceremony on 6th of October the Program, a new group of students was welcomed at Potsdam University of Applied Sciences.
