My research interests are in the areas of higher education research, educational trajectories and decisions, academic success and dropout, as well as quantitative methods of empirical educational research.

In my PhD research project at the Department of Empirical Educational Research, I focus on the entrance characteristics of participants in an orientation study programme. In addition, I am investigating the motives of students participating in such programmes.
