K2-Teach

The project K2Teach – Know how to teach is sponsored within the framework of the teacher training quality initiative. The aim is to develop concepts and learning arrangements in order to promote skills for adaptive teaching in the context of teacher training. These are developed in cooperation with different apartments in didactics, educational studies and psychology.

Our department is responsible for the subproject “Acquiring research competence for an evidence-based adaptive teaching practice”. We develop possibilities to establish research competence in students during their teacher training in order to enable them to diagnose, intervene and evaluate. Putting it more precisely, a system to evaluate programs for learning support should be developed on the basis of empirical data (e.g. meta-analyses, experimental studies).
