Monika joined the lab in February 2017 as a PhD student. Before that she did a B.Sc. in Psychology at the University of Amsterdam with a specialization in neuropsychology and a M.Sc. in Social, Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience at Freie Universität Berlin. She graduated in January 2023.

Monika's reserach focussed on understanding the representation of category-orthogonal object propery location (Graumann et al., 2022, 2023). She also led a project on Braille reading, and participated in the 2021 edition of the Algonauts Project.

After her PhD she turned to work in industry.
