Internships

Internships and laboratory rotations that are completed as part of a degree programme can be carried out with us. It is important that your interests match with our research.

For internships or laboratory rotations, we would like to allow participating in our current research and laboratory work. Please bear in mind that we therefore do not offer separate example or training simulations, but that in the case of an internship you would be working in support of a current research project. Accepting interns involves a considerable amount of support (such as time for onboarding, explanations, provision of work equipment, etc.). In order for an internship to be a useful experience for both you and the working group, a high level of motivation, personal commitment and self-organisation is essential.

It is particularly helpful for an internship at NNU to have programming skills in MATLAB, R Script and Python. We also require good background knowledge of neurocognitive methods.

During an internship, you can gain insights into research with fMRI, EEG, TMS or tDCS - but this always depends on the current studies.
